May 28, 2025

The Academy of Marketing Science (AMS) presented the Distinguished Marketing Practitioner Award to Jean-Luc Geha, co-founder and associate director of the Sales Institute HEC Montréal.

This internationally renowned award honours outstanding individuals in business or public policy. Jean-Luc Geha has distinguished himself through his commitment to creating a prominent space for sales in academia. In 2017, he co-founded the Sales Institute HEC Montréal, a centre of excellence dedicated to research, innovation and knowledge sharing. This one-of-a-kind institute in Canada aims to develop cutting-edge sales expertise.

“I feel extremely proud to receive this prestigious award and be recognized by my peers. My desire to reposition the image of sales at the university level has borne fruit. Yet none of this would have been possible without the constant support of my many fellow professors and visionary business partners who helped me create a centre of excellence in sales that will enable our organizations to reach their full economic potential.”
